NPR: Democracy Now!: "'500 Days': Author Kurt Eichenwald’s New Account of How Bush Admin Ignored Warnings Before 9/11"

I am the first to be critical of Democracy Now!, but when I hear an interview as good as this I am inclined to give credit where credit is due.  This is an interview with Kurt Eichenwald, author of 500 Days, and I like it because it is very careful to distinguish between the roles of elected and appointed officials, on the one hand, and professional members of intelligence community on the other, which is essential in determining where policy choices emerged from in this case (and many besides).
